Heritage entered winless, and Jay County’s girls made sure they would exit that way as well.
The Jay County High Rollers girls bowling team clobbered Heritage 20-0 Wednesday to improve to 3-1 on the season.
They won all 10 points in the opening game, then rolled a team record 853 game in the second to completed the shutout.
Summer Roush topped the charts, rolling the high game and series with scores of 203 and 375 respectively. Roush, Autumn Shepherd, Shanda Morningstar and Jessica Philebaum each scored two points in the win.
Cowan tops Eagles
MUNCIE — West Jay’s girls basketball team’s fell short Wednesday night, each losing to Cowan. The eighth grade team fell 21-17, and the seventh grade Eagles suffered a 24-14 defeat.
Brittany Muhlenkamp was the top scorer for West Jay, leading the eighth graders with seven points. Keri VanSkyock and Jordyn Swearingen each added four points.
Melynda Brackman paced the seventh grade squad with six points, and Taylor Burris added four.[[In-content Ad]]
