Practice begins Tuesday (12/30/04)

The Jay County middle school swim team will hold its first practice at the Jay County High School pool Tuesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Any Jay County sixth through eighth grader interested in joining the team should attend. All swimmers must have a physical form on file with their school prior to practice.

There will also be practice Wednesday, Jan. 5 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

Fort tickets

Tickets to Fort Recovery’s boys basketball game Monday at Versailles, will be sold on game day. They will be available in the high school office from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Advance tickets are $4 for students and $5 for adults. All tickets at the door will be $5.

Archery league

The Jay County Conservation Club will host its indoor archery league beginning in January.

The target league will meet Tuesdays at 7 p.m., beginning Jan. 3. The bowhunter’s league will be Wednesday evenings at 7 p.m. beginning Jan. 4.

The cost is $3.50 per session for club members and $4.50 for non-members. The leagues are open to archers of all ages.
