YMCA Open is Sunday
Randolph County YMCA will host its YMCA Open golf tournament Sunday at Winchester Golf Club.
The event will begin at 1 p.m. The entry fee is $35 for WGC members and $45 for non-members.

Fort needs volleyball coach
Fort Recovery High School is in need of a freshman volleyball coach for the upcoming season.

Jay football camp starts Monday
The Jay County High School football program will host a camp for kindergarten through eighth graders beginning Monday.
The camp will run from 6:30 to 8 p.m. July 18, 19, 21 and 22 at JCHS. The registration fee is $10, and $5 for each additional child in the same family.

Golf outing is Wednesday
The Youth For Christ golf outing will be Wednesday at Golf Club of the Limberlost in Geneva.
The entry fee for the event is $125 per person or $500 per four-person team. The tournament will be played in two flights, beginning at 8 a.m. at 1 p.m.

JCC race scheduled for July 23
Jay Community Center will host the Dave Miller Memorial 5K Walk/Run on July 23.
The race will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the main entrance of Jay County Fairgrounds. The registration fee is $10.

Baseball Bash starts Thursday
Registration is open for the Bluffton Baseball bash.
The tournament played July 21 through 24 in Bluffton is 10-and-younger and 12-and-younger teams
 Each team is guaranteed at least three games.

SA camp scheduled
The South Adams High School boys basketball program’s camp for kindergarten through eighth graders will begin Monday.
Camp sessions will be July 18 through 21 from 9 to 10 a.m. for kindergarten through second graders, 10 to 11:30 a.m. for third through fifth graders and 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for sixth through eighth graders.
The registration fee is $20 per child.

Basketball tourney set
The Swiss Days 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be July 30 at South Adams High School.
The double-elimination tournament for players in the fifth grade and older will begin at 10 a.m. The entry fee is $30 per team, and the deadline is July 23
 (Registration will be accepted the day of the tournament at a cost of $40.)

Co-ed softball starts Aug. 21
Sign-ups are open for the Jay Community Center Boomer Co-ed Softball league.
The league is for players who are in the ninth grade or older, and games will be played on Sundays beginning Aug. 21. The registration fee is $325 per team, and the deadline is Aug. 12.

First Baptist Church will be hosting Tae Kwon Do and women’s self-defense free classes.
