The Jay County Summer Swim Team stayed hot Tuesday night.
The team won its seventh straight meet, crushing North Adams Central for the second time this year, 785-202. It finished the dual meet season at 11-2 overall, and will swim in the Wabash valley Conference Championships Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Berne outdoor pool.
Sam Miller, Rachel Vogler and Ashley Imel each picked up three victories as 31 different Jay County swimmers accounted for at least one win. The team also won all but one of the 19 relays.
Miller took care of business in the 13-14-year-old boys division, finishing first in the backstroke, individual medley and breaststroke. Vogler won the 8-and-younger girls long freestyle, butterfly and short freestyle, and Ashley Imel captured the girls butterfly, individual medley and breaststroke.
Vogler had plenty of help in the 8-and-younger division as four other Jay County swimmers won two events apiece. Annie Vormohr grabbed two more wins in the girls backstroke and individual medley.
Levi Hummel was first in the boys long freestyle and the individual medley. Zane Shreve won the boys breaststroke and short freestyle, and Sok Vormohr took the butterfly and backstroke.
Jay County also had three double-event winners in both the 9-10- and 11-12-year-old divisions.

In the 11-12-year-old girls division, Alysha Miller hit the wall first in the butterfly and individual medley, and Michelle Landfair won the breaststroke and short freestyle. Perry Hull captured the boys butterfly and individual medley.
