The first home meet of the season did not go as well as the Patriots would have hoped.

Senior Aaron Hudson was the lone double winner for JCHS as he led throughout the 100-yard butterfly and fought off Sam Walburn by just over a second with a winning time of 1 minute, 0.23 seconds. He was also first by nearly four seconds in 1:07.69 in the 100 breaststroke.
Hudson teamed with Neal Fennig, Wiley Young and Richard Osterholt to take the 200 medley relay in 1:52.21.
In the girls 100 butterfly, Michelle Landfair, Caitlin Ruchgy and Jocelyn Mann had the top three positions 50 yards into the race. Landfair pulled away for a five-second win in 1:08.19, and Mann and Ruchgy traded places to complete the sweep in second and third respectively.
Landfair and Ruchgy also joined Mary Hudson and Eme Miller in posting a time of 4:08.7 to win the 400 freestyle relay.
Young dominated the boys 50 freestyle with a time of 25.5 to lead a Patriot sweep ahead of Luke Holcomb and Charles Burress. Neal Fennig was first in the 100 backstroke in the time of 1:01.92.
