Vormohrs lead Jay Co. tankers (11/08/04)
NOBLESVILLE — The Vormohrs paced the Jay County Winter Swim Team this weekend, scoring all of its top-three finishes at the Noblesville Invitational.
Cori Vormohr picked up Jay County’s two victories. She was first in the 13-14-year-old female 200-yard individual medley in 2-minutes, 23.66 seconds and the 50-yard freestyle in 26.24.
She also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle in 58.06.
Annie Vormohr racked up a team-high six personal-best times and notched her top finish with a second-place time of 49.66 in the 8-and-younger 50-yard butterfly. She was third in the 100-yard individual medley in 1:46.26.
She joined Rylee Clemmons, Sophie Bader and Alex Bader for third place in the medley relay.
Sok Vormohr was on the top Jay County relay team along with Jared Schlosser, Adam Young and Jacob Schlosser. They finished second in the freestyle relay.
Also notching top-eight individual finishes to score points for Jay County were Wiley Young, Sophie Bader, Sok Vormohr, Rylee Clemmons and Jacob Schlosser.[[In-content Ad]]
