MUNICE — The Jay County High School girls cross country team missed advancing to semi-state as a team by one point.
The Patriots will still be represented at New Haven Oct. 25th.
Two JCHS girls and one Patriot boy qualified for the semi-state meet from today’s Delta regional cross country race at Muncie SportsPlex.
Kellie Fortkamp and Megan Wellman placed 13th and 20th respectively for the girls, and Tanner Craw finished in 26th for the JCHS boys.
Former Patriot Emi Minnich, now of Muncie Burris, also advanced as an individual.
