Three local athletes have received recognition from the Allen County Athletic Conference.
Jay County High School senior Zach Pryor and South Adams freshman David Muselman were named to the first-team all-ACAC for tennis.
Pryor, who was the?Patriots’ No. 1 singles player after spending his junior year playing doubles, helped Jay County beat Winchester 3-2 in the sectional championship. It was the first title for the Patriots since 2007.
Muselman, the No. 1 singles player for South Adams, advanced in the individual tournament after his Starfire squad lost to the host Norwell Knights in the quarterfinal of the sectional tournament.
Dexter Miller of SAHS?was named to the second team.
