FORT RECOVERY — The Indians beat the Patriots at its own game this afternoon.
Fort Recovery girls basketball team held Jay County without a point for more than eight minutes in a 41-24 defeat of its state-line rivals.
Jay County (9-2) went more than 26 minutes without a field goal as it shot 4-of-36 from the field.
Fort Recovery (5-2) built a double-digit lead in the second quarter and built its advantage to as many as 20 points at the start of the fourth.
FRHS senior Tori Lennartz led all players with 15 points, and Jocelyn Kaiser chipped in with nine.
Taylor Homan led Jay County with eight points.
