Fort Recovery Eels summer swim team
WINCHESTER — The Fort Recovery Eels summer swim team finished second in a three-team meet Tuesday.
The host Randolph County Sharks won with a score of 428. Fort Recovery had 408 points, and the Union City Tiger Sharks were third with 332 points.
Cassidy Martin was the lone triple-event winner for the Eels. She won the butterfly, individual medley and breaststroke races in the girls 13-14-year-old division.
Audra and Alexis Bubp both won a pair of races. Audra placed first in the 9-10-year-old butterfly and breaststroke, and Alexis earned victories in the 15-and-older individual medley and short freestyle.
Jayden Ramirez (9-10-year-old), Ava Bubp (11-12-year-old), Kierra Wendel (11-12-year-old), Logan Ramirez (11-12-year-old), Kyra Clark (11-12-year-old), Jackson Ontrop (13-14-year-old) and Sophie Timmerman (15-and-older) each picked up victories in single events.
