Patriots upended by 14-0
The sun might have been shining, but the Patriots had a gloomy afternoon in Coldwater on Friday, losing 14-0.
Jay County only managed three hits, with Josh Vaughn, Chandler Jacks, and Ryan Schlecty all making good contact.
Meanwhile, Coldwater whacked 11 hits, nine of them off starting pitcher Ethan Myers, who was credited with the loss.
The Patriots committed two errors, but seven of Coldwater’s runs were earned.
Myers struck out two and walked four.
Coldwater’s Thobe was credited with the win, giving up just two hits in three innings.
