CELINA, Ohio — The Tribe’s skid has hit four.
Fort Recovery High School’s boys golf team had its losing streak hit four matches with a 178-196 loss to the Lehman Catholic Cavaliers on Friday at Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
Austin Pohl had a strong start for the host Indians (6-5), making birdie on the par-5 first hole. He followed with back-to-back pars on his way to finishing with a team-low 42. He was one stroke off Lehman’s Tyler Lachey, who earned match medalist honors.
Micaiah Cox was second on the team with a 48, and Austin Faller was one shot behind. Grant Knapke posted a 57 to complete the Indians’ team score.
Aaron Lochtefeld also competed, and he finished with a 66.
