Tribe climbs to 12th in poll
Fort Recovery got 19 points in AP poll
COLUMBUS — Despite a loss, the Indians are moving up.
Fort Recovery High School’s boys basketball team moved up three spots to 12th in the Division IV Associated Press poll voting this week.
The Indians (9-3, 3-1 Midwest?Athletic Conference) suffered their first conference loss of the season Friday, falling to the Coldwater Cavaliers in a shootout, 85-80.
Fort Recovery received 19 points in this week’s poll voting and is 11 points behind Columbus Wellington, which finished 11th in the voting.
Lincolnview remains No. 1 in Division IV. The?Lancers (16-0), who beat Fort Recovery 69-56 on Jan. 2,?received all 23 first place votes for 237 points. Defiance Ayersville (176) is second, Sandusky St.?Mary (169) is third, Tri-Village (123)?is fourth and Gorham Fayette (113) rounds out the top five.
Six through 10 are Jackson Center (103), Mogadore (101), Waterford (49), Glouster Trimble?(47)?and Columbus Africentric (40).
