Pioneer Packaging entered Tuesday night’s game undefeated behind the play of Dominick Bright, Maddox Huffman and Jayden Comer.
They shined again in helping the team stay perfect.
In the Rookie boys division of Portland Junior League, Pioneer Packaging defeated Williams Auto Parts 12-8 to move to 9-0 on the season.
Bright was 4-for-4, and all of his hits were doubles. Huffman followed with four singles, and Comer added two hits. Max Dues recorded three singles, and Brayton Kinney ripped a double. Carson Busick and Sam Wiggins each had two base hits.
Joe Geesaman paced Williams in the losing effort by going 3-for-3 with two doubles. Max Klopfenstein also had a pair of doubles. Izzy McAbee and Kevin Dues each had a double and a single.

Pak-A-Sak wins
Aryan Montes and Braden O’Brien led Pak-A-Sak to a 22-9 victory Tuesday in Rookie baseball action of Portland Junior League.
Montes and O’Brien each had a triple, a double and two singles. Cooper Reynolds and Eli Stockton each had a double and three singles, while Alex Miller and Kaden Carpenter had four hits apiece. Freddie Lingo contributed three singles to the winning effort, as Tyce Foreman, Caleb Sibray and Trevor Jones each had two hits.
Gavin Byrum hit two triples for Ponderosa, which also got a pair of singles from Nick Snow, Chase Ninde, Gavin Tow and Grant Fennig.
Mitchell Byrum and Andrew Myers each had a single.
