CELINA, Ohio — Two players shot better than 100 on Tuesday as the Fort Recovery High School boys golf team was fourth in the Mercer County Meet at Celina Lynx Golf Club.
The St. Henry Redskins were the team champions with 339. The Cavaliers from Coldwater totaled 385 for second, and the Parkway Panthers were third with 404.
Fort Recovery totaled 449. Marion Local was fifth in the six-team tournament. Celina did not qualify for a team score.
Grant Knapke led the Indians with a 94, one stroke better than Harrison Kaup. Carson Rammel was third on the team with 128, and Blayne Tobe completed the Tribe’s score with 132.
Kyle Naumann of St. Henry was the match medalist with an even par 72.
Fort Recovery returns to the course at 9 a.m. Friday as it hosts the Tri-Village Patriots at Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
