VAN WERT, Ohio — The Tribe girls swimmers keep rolling.
Fort Recovery High School’s girls swim team earned two more wins on Thursday in a tri-meet with Marion Local and host Van Wert.
The Indians defeated Van Wert 58-32, and knocked off Marion Local 63-30 as they moved to 8-0 in dual meets.
Fort Recovery’s boys lost to Marion Local 70-12, and 49-9 to Van Wert.
Cassy Martin and Sophie Timmerman both had a pair of victories. Martin won the 100-meter freestyle in 1 minute, 2.01 seconds, and the 100 backstroke in 1:12.59. Timmerman had the top spot in the 400 freestyle (5:19.87) and 100 breaststroke (1:22.54).
Paige Fortkamp won the 50 freestyle (29.96), Shelby Stammen was first in the 200 individual medley (2:59.47) and Ava Bubp won the 100 butterfly (1:19.5).
The 200 medley relay team of Rachel Acheson, Martin, Stammen and Fortkamp were first with a time of 2:23.27.
Kristy McIntosh-Thobe, Krya Clark, Timmerman and Bubp teamed to finish first in the 400 freestyle relay in 4:53.37.
