Lansing scored 11 runs in the seventh inning to hand the Fort Wayne TinCaps a 13-4 loss at Parkview Field.
The Lugnuts (Toronto Blue Jays) entered the seventh inning traling 3-2, then proceeded to send 16 players to the dish, capped by a bases-clearing triple from Chavez Young.
Fort Wayne’s Luis Campusano hit the first home run of his career, a three-run shot in the first inning.?Campusano’s blast gave the TinCaps (1-7) a lead they held until doom struck in the seventh inning.
Carlos Belen, who had a grand slam in Wednesday’s victory, finished with two hits, and Tirso Ornelas had three singles for the TinCaps. Fort Wayne reliever Henry Henry took the loss, allowing six earned runs in 2/3 innings.
