CELINA, Ohio — Grant Knapke was fourth overall.
His team finished in the same place.
For the second time in as many days, Knapke led the Fort Recovery High School boys golf team as it finished fourth in the Mercer County Meet on Tuesday at Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
Coldwater won the team championship with 350. St. Henry was second with 369 and Marion Local scored 402 for third.
Fort Recovery totaled 409 in the six-team tournament.
Knapke led the Indians with an 84, six strokes behind individual champion Carson Muhlenkamp of Coldwater. Knapke matched Parkway’s Mason Baxter for fourth.
Derek Locthefeld was second for Fort Recovery with 106, Blayne Tobe carded 109 and Carson Rammel had 110.
Russell Gehle (117) and Zander Kunkler (139) also competed, but their scores did not factor into the team total.

GENEVA — The South Adams High School girls golf team moved to 3-1 on the season Tuesday by beating Fort Recovery 218-232 at Wabash Valley Golf Club.
Jalyn Bruns began her FRHS career by leading the team with a 51, and Shelby Stammen was two strokes behind her. Alli Vaughn finished with 57, as Becca Wood, Devin Jutte and Reagan Grieshop had matching scores of 71 to complete the Tribe’s team total.
Results for South Adams were not provided.
