CELINA, Ohio — Fort Recovery High School’s boys golf team took fifth Tuesday in the Mercer County Championships at Celina Lynx.
The Coldwater Cavaliers shot 353 to win the team title, edging the St. Henry Redskins by five strokes. Parkway scored 402 for third place, besting the Marion Local flyers by four.
Fort Recovery scored 423.
Grant Knapke was the lone Indian player to score in double digits. He led the squad with an 89, which was good enough for fifth overall out of more than 30 players.
Carson Rammel and Derek Lochtefeld had identical rounds of 107, and Zander Kunkler completed the team score with 120.
Isaac LeFevre also competed, but his 136 did not factor into the squad’s total.
Carson Muhlenkamp of Coldwater shot 77 to repeat as individual champion.
