A pair of Fort Recovery High School boys golfers earned district-wide honors.
Grant Knapke, a senior, and junior Carson Rammel received all-district recognition by the Northwest District Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association.
Knapke was second team all-district, while Rammel earned honorable mention.
Knapke was the team’s top golfer all season. He shot 78 in the Midwest Athletic Conference tournament, which tied for second overall and earned first team all-MAC. Rammel shot 91 in that match and was second team all-conference as the Indians were sixth as a team. Minster, Coldwater and Delphos St. John’s were first through third.
In the sectional meet, Knapke shot 85 and Rammel carded 100.
Fort Recovery was seventh at sectional. Minster, St. John’s and Lima Central Catholic were the top three squads.
