Jay Co. gives ticketing info
K-12 students allowed one free ticket, all tickets must be picked up in advance
Jay County released its ticket and spectator guidelines for the fall sports season Wednesday.
A day later, it set forth ticketing availability for the first few contests.
The Jay County athletics department on Thursday released the ticketing allotment for Saturday’s football scrimmage, Tuesday’s boys soccer game against Muncie Central and Thursday’s volleyball opener against Madison-Grant.
Gates for the football scrimmage open at 9 a.m. with action set to begin at 10 a.m. at Harold E. Schutz Memorial Stadium against the Centerville Bulldogs.
There are 175 tickets available for family of team members and managers, and there are 75 available for Jay County Junior-Senior High School students. A total of 100 tickets are available to the Jay County general public. Centerville will be provided two tickets per player on the roster.
For both the boys soccer (gate opens 4:15 p.m., game starts 5 p.m.) and volleyball (doors open 5:15 p.m., 6 p.m. start) contests, there are 165 available tickets for families of players, 50 each for junior high or high school students and the general public, and two for each player on the Muncie Central and Madison-Grant rosters.
A limit of 60 Patriot Pass, Super Ticket and season ticket holders will be allowed per each of the three contests.
All tickets must be purchased or picked up in the Jay County athletics office by 2 p.m. the day of the contest or 2 p.m. Friday for events on Saturdays.
Jay County students in kindergarten through 12th grade may receive one free ticket per contest, and those in sixth grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult who has purchased a ticket.
