The boys made it a clean sweep.
Fort Recovery High School’s boys basketball team earned the No. 1 seed Sunday for the Division IV Wapakoneta District tournament.
Sectional semifinals are set for Feb. 25 and 26, with the championship games Feb. 28. District semifinals are Feb. 3 and 6 at Wapakoneta.
Fort Recovery (14-4) awaits the winner of No. 9 seed Marion Local and No. 13 seed Temple Christian, and that sectional final will be 6:15 p.m. Feb. 28 at St. Marys Memorial.
Mt. Victory Ridgemont plays New Bremen and St. Henry meets New Knoxville in the Feb. 26 sectional semifinals, also at St. Marys. Winners of those respective games play at 8 p.m. Feb. 28. Sectional champions advance to the district semifinal at 6:15 p.m. Feb. 3 at Wapakoneta.
Parkway and Minster earned the second and third seeds, respectively, and they got a bye to the sectional final. Parkway awaits the winner of Upper Scioto Valley and Spencerville for a 6:15 p.m. Feb. 28 semifinal at Coldwater. Minster meets either Lima Perry or Waynesfield-Goshen for an 8 p.m. Feb. 28 sectional final at Coldwater.
The Coldwater sectional champions meet in the district semifinal at 8 p.m. Feb. 3.
The district championship is slated for 7 p.m. Feb. 6.
