Saturday at New Castle: Jay County had its hopes of going 5-0 for the first time in almost a decade dashed by the New Castle Trojans in a 49-37 road loss to the Trojans. The Patriots, who were 4-0 for the first time since 2014, were down just three points at halftime (19-16). Ethan Dirksen scored 21 points to lead Jay County, and?Gavin Muhlenkamp chipped in 12 points.
