Last week at South Adams: Jay County gave up too many big plays in a 42-13 loss to Class 1A No. 7 South Adams Starfires. The Starfires scored five touchdowns of 25 or more yards and blocked a punt for another TD. Quinn Faulkner rushed for 63 yards and also had a 67-yard TD pass to Justin?DeHoff.
Season leaders: Passing — 29-of-70 passing for 368 yard, four touchdowns and seven interceptions. Rushing — Quinn Faulkner – 120 carries for 928 yards and 13 touchdowns. Receiving — Quinn?Faulkner – 16 catches for 150 yards and one touchdown. Defense — Qadon Ferrell – 61 tackles, two tackles for loss, one forced fumble and one blocked punt.

Tyler Dollar rushed 28 times for 199 yards and three TDs, and Brennan Stowe threw for 61 yards. The Bulldogs surrendered 524 yards of total offense.
