Barnett’s Auto Parts was down 11-7 in the bottom of the fifth inning.

POET Bioprocessing couldn’t hold the four-run lead, as Barnett’s scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to storm back and win the game.

Barnett’s Auto Parts of Portland Junior League Rookie baseball came back to beat POET Bioprocessing 12-11 Tuesday.

Bryson Berry, Weston Eldridge, Drew Lingo and Cohen Saint all notched three hits for Barnett’s. Four more players added two hits of their own.

Dakoda Smith led POET with four hits. Behind him were Harvey Hemmelgarn, Nolan Homan, Corbin Hutzler, Koblyn Martinez and Owen Michael with three hits each.



PG14 rallies

PG14 took a late lead to beat Kiwanis 11-8 in Portland Junior League Willie Mays baseball on Tuesday.

Kiwanis had the lead against PG14 in the top of the final inning until Eli Homan hit a grand slam to change the game. He also had a double and a single for PG14.

Dustin Franks and Blake Jellison b0oth smacked two singles in the win.

Karson Schilling had a good day at the plate for Kiwanis, hitting two doubles, a single and drawing a walk.

Benson Armstrong supported Schilling with a double and two singles.
