Williams Auto Parts beat Pak-A-Sak 11-10 Monday in Portland Junior League Rookie baseball. Williams Auto Parts were able to outlast Pak-A-Sak despite being outhit 21-15 in the game.
Three players had three hits for Williams Auto Parts including Hayden Franks, Parker Huntsman and Wyatt Fennig. Franks had two triples, four RBIs and three runs while Huntsman drove three runners in and scored three times. Fennig also had an RBI.
Pak-A-Sak’s hit leaders were Cage Reynolds, Jaxon Curtis and Ricky Heitkamp with four hits apiece. Reynolds scored three runs while Heitkamp scored twice.
Carson Pryor and Kasen Rowles both added three hits as well. Pryor had three RBIs, two runs and a double while Rowles slashed two RBIs and a run.

PENNVILLE — Anniston Hammond set the pace.
Hammond scored 14 goals for the Penrod Monuments Yellow Jackets in the Stinger Division of the Pennville Soccer League as they defeated the Progressive Del Toro Hornets 11-5 before falling 10-9 to The Ryzone’s Wasps. Also in the division, the Hornets topped the I.D.C. Restaurant Bees 8-4.
Benjamin Barrios was second in scoring in the division with nine goals for the Hornets. Kena Penrod’s five goals was the highest for the Wasps and Victeria Brown scored all four of the Bees’ goals.
In the Space Division, Dave’s Heating and Cooling Rockets beat the PG14 Radio Asteroids and the Vinson Rental Properties Galaxy 5-3 in both games, the Pennville Pantry Meteors defeated the Bro Shadow Stars and the Galaxy 6-5, 4-1 and the Asteroid beat the stars 4-1.
Vinny New netted five goals for the Meteors while Jude Cline had five for the Stars. Calvin Minch scored three goals for the Galaxy, while Cooper Bailey and Bradley Catterson both had three for the Rockets. The Asteroids had three players — Owen Ehrhart, Zeke Ehrhart and Laney Thompson — who scored two goals each.
The Penrod Monuments Jaguars top the Wildcat Division with wins over the POET Tigers (5-1) and the New Beginnings Holiness Church Cougars (5-1). The Cougars beat the Patriot Sportswear Cheetahs 6-2 while the Pennville General Store Lions beat the Briar Patch Leopards 7-0.
Lyle Beiswanger led the division with four goals for the Cougars and Jade Westgerdes was in second with three for the Jaguars. Three Lions had two goals, those being Tyler Davis, Charlee Peters and Karsen Kuhn. Andrew Crump had the only goal for the Tigers.
