Jinny’s is step back in time

To the editor:

Recently, a truck accidentally drove into the south wall of Jinny’s Cafe in Bryant.

Employees and patrons quickly came to the aid of those who were injured. Emergency responders were prompt in their response.

Customers who frequent Jinny’s Cafe are as genuine as there is. There is nothing fake about them. They have one another’s back. Employees go the extra mile to make sure everyone is satisfied.

After the accident, I talked with the former longtime owner of the cafe, Miss Jinny herself. She said patrons are loyal. Even if a nearby event, such as a fish fry or chili cook-off, is held, regulars continue to dine at the cafe.

Yes, Jinny’s is like a step back in time. Everyone is treated the same; no one is seeking elite status.
