JC falls to Jets, claims second in ACAC Duals at 5-1
The Class 2A Jay County High School boys wrestling team fell to the Class 1A No. 4 Adams Central Jets in the opening round of the Allen County Athletic Conference Duals 47-30 on Saturday, but followed up with five consecutive victories to claim second place.

Cole Forthofer put back Gradin Swoveland’s miss to lift the Jay County High School boys basketball team to victory over the New Castle Trojans 58-56 in double overtime on Saturday.

Brunswick scored all seven overtime points for the Jay County High School girls basketball team on Friday as it snapped a four game losing streak with a 53-50 victory over the Adams Central Jets.
Relays rally Patriots
The boys quickly answered back by claiming the 200-meter medley relay. Two top finishes from Cooper Glentzer and the 400 freestyle relay would give the boys all they would need to beat out the girls, but neither Patriot team could overcome the Knights.
Close calls
The Jay County High School boys wrestling team hosted three teams for a double dual on Tuesday, falling to the Delta Eagles 49-18 but managed to eke out a 39-37 victory over the Yorktown Tigers. The Winchester Golden Falcons also attended but did not wrestle against the Patriots.
Schwieterman, Brunswick can’t lead JCHS past Bearcats
The Jay County High School girls basketball team fell to the Muncie Central Bearcats 50-45 on Tuesday, snapping an eight-game winning streak that dates back to the 2016-17 season.
