PORTLAND — The East Jay seventh grade girls basketball team stayed perfect Tuesday, topping Hartford City 34-20. The eighth grade team also won, 33-18, to climb above .500.

DELPHOS, Ohio — Greg Kahlig and Josh Wendel went wild for the Fort Recovery seventh grade boys basketball team as it topped the Delphos St. Johns Blue Jays 48-44 Thursday. Three eighth graders scored in double figures as the Indians stayed above .500 with a 43-38 win.

FORT RECOVERY — The Indians owned the first half, but still could not break through for their first win. Fort Recovery’s freshman boys basketball team dropped to 0-7 on the year Monday with a 45-39 loss to the Delphos St. Johns Blue Jays.
