OPINION

Daily Student needs support

These past few years have been a blunt lesson in the importance of local journalism. You likely understand that sentiment if you subscribe to this publication.

Deniers would overrule Constitution

To the editor: I am responding to a Jan. 5 letter to the editor in The Commercial Review. The author defends U.S. Rep. Jim Banks for joining the amicus brief for the election lawsuit filed by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. I challenge the author on multiple counts.

And so it begins: The long slog toward springtime.

We live in a democratic republic.

As the year winds down, it’s only natural to reflect on milestones and those we’ve lost along the way.

It’s been a year.
