OPINION
Christmas conjures many memories
Christmas is about memories.
Rep is here to stay
It is no surprise to many of us in the 3rd Congressional District that another looney attack on Representative Banks should occupy lots of column inches in the left-wing raging rag called the Journal Gazette. They hate the guy, too.
Judgment of Banks was diplomatic
To the editor: This letter is to give a concurrent opinion in regard to Jack Ronald’s editorial on Dec. 15. Jack was very diplomatic in his assessment of the actions of Rep. Jim Banks. I will be less so. It was, in a word, stupid.
We were lucky to have Millspaugh
To the editor: This is a tough one. We were prepared for this result but it’s difficult to read it in print.
Let’s get back to living
So you’re on the fence on the COVID-19 vaccine.
There’s a lot to miss this Christmas
To the editor: Things I miss this Christmas.
‘Tis the season to quit tobacco
To the editor: It’s the most wonderful time of the year — quit season.
Desk is not ready for prime time
My old friend Paul Stevens made a request the other day, and I still haven’t been able to fulfill it.
Pray, but also take precautions
To the editor: I support and sympathize with Dreama Nichols admonishing to pray.

Arts Place says thanks for auction
To the editor: The year 2020 has definitely been an interesting year which has pushed many of us to rethink the way we normally do things in order to make them happen. Arts Place is no exception.
Vaccine key to recovery
Vaccines have never been fully accepted.
Thank you for supporting dinner
To the editor: The Thanksgiving dinner for the community was just amazing.
The gift exchange came up empty
Much as I love Christmas — and I love it a lot — I can’t say I’m a fan of the Christmas gift exchange.
