The Jay County Public Library, in conjunction with the annual Reading Rainbow Young Writers and Illustrators Contest, will hold a writing workshop on Friday from 2:45 to 3:45 p.m.
French Club to host Cafe at high school (02/25/06)
The French Club at Jay County High School will have its annual Mardi Gras Cafe on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the South hallway of the high school.
Giant Spin-In to be held at fairgrounds (03/08/06)
The Giant Spin-In will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the 4-H Building at the Jay County Fairgrounds in Portland.
JCPL hosting Internet classes (02/27/06)
The Jay County Public Library will offer internet classes on Thursday, March 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. Basic computer skills are required.

Arts Place to display the work of area students (03/15/06)
In observance of Youth Art Month, the 2006 Regional Student Art Show, entitled, “My Place in the World,” featuring artwork by area students, will be displayed in the Hugh N. Ronald Gallery at Arts Place beginning Thursday and continuing through April 29.
Grief classes to be held in Portland (03/23/06)
State of the Heart Home Health and Hospice will begin grief education classes on Monday, March 27, and they will continue for five consecutive Mondays.
