In review
It was a busy Saturday for Jay County High School’s performing artists.
Senior Calvin Whitney and sophomore Shea Bailey led the way for Jay County as they each received gold ratings at the Indiana State School Music Association’s Solo and ensemble state contest.
The Jay County Winter Guard placed second in its round and third overall in competition at Carroll. It will compete in state preliminaries Saturday.
And the Jay County Indoor Drumline earned a participation award as it competed at Greenfield-Central.
