Jay County High School had another big weekend in the performing arts.
The winter guard advanced from the state preliminaries at Franklin Central to earn a spot in the state semifinals. JCHS?was second in its round and scored first in design analysis. It finished 14th overall as the top 36 moved on to the semifinals Saturday at Decatur Central.
The JCHS Patriot Edition Show Choir was fourth overall and second in its division at Saturday’s Bishop Luers Midwest Show Choir Invitational. Just Treble placed third in the all-girl division. Jay?County also won the award for best crew.
