A Portland resident was honored Thursday, April 24, at the 2003 Annual Wapehani Girl Scout Council Meeting and Dinner with the highest award given to a Girl Scout.
JC juniors to attend girls state (6/20/03)
Two Jay County juniors have been selected to attend Hoosier Girls State to be held June 22 to June 28 at the Indiana State University campus in Terre Haute.
Swiss Village open for season (6/9/03)
The Swiss Heritage Village and Museum, 1200 Swiss Way, Berne, is open for the season through October. Several special events will be held in addition to the regular season.

FLMA seminar set
The St. Vincent Randolph Hospital Occupational Health Department will sponsor a Family Medical Leave Act seminar on Thursday, July 10, from 8 a.m. to noon in the Community Rooms 1 and 2 in the hospital in Winchester.
'Camping' set at library (6/25/03)
