ME’s Zoo in Parker City will open for the 2004 season on Saturday, April 17. “Continuing the Dream” is the theme of the zoo in memory of Max (the M in ME’s Zoo), who founded the zoo.

The Jay County High School FFA Annual Parent-Member Banquet was held Friday, April 2, in the high school commons with 500 members and guests attending.

Networking breakfasts provide professionals working in Alzheimer’s care the opportunity to informally meet and interact with other professionals working in the field.
Museum open house set
The Jay County Historical Museum, 903 East Main St., Portland, will hold an open house on Sunday, April 25, from 1 to 4 p.m.
Blood donors total 128
The American Red Cross blood drive drew 128 donors last week. The drive was held at Asbury United Methodist Church in Portland Friday.
